Southwold offshore windfarms 9 Jan 2023

Scottish power's East Anglia One is in the North Sea some 43km from the coast of Southwold. It makes a significant contribution to UK Grid.

As at 6am today Mon 9 Jan 2023, approx 14.67 Gigwatts was being generated by wind in the UK (56.9% of total of 26Gigawatts) .

Scottish Power's development of windfarm's is continuing with the East Anglia Two project which is also off Southwold some 32.6km from the coast.
