Here you can see the state of the tide at Southwold which is RISING as we head towards the second high tide of the day. Southwold Harbour mouth is fairly calm and smooth at present.

According to the BBC tide service, the next high tide will be at 1322hrs. You can see that tidal peaks and troughs are roughly 6hrs apart.
Compared to other high tides, this next one of 2.2metres isn't very high at all.
