Here you can see the state of the tide at Southwold. Right now we are almost at low tide and there's a little bit of disturbance at the Harbour mouth in the windy / rainy conditions.

The Harbour authority is East Suffolk Council.
According to the BBC tide service, low tide will be at 0859hrs. You can see that tidal peaks and troughs are roughly 6hrs apart and High Tide is shown as 1521hrs
Compared to other high tides, this next one of 2.1metres isn't very high at all.
