There is a 10 metre stretch of water which is at least 3 inches deep at the centre and inches deeper at the edges. Some vehicles do plough through it and so hubcaps and plastic car parts can sometimes be seen in the water.
There is little chance of rain today according to Met Office website. However, it is possible that water will remain across the road as it drains from surrounding land to the marsh.
