Kevin started school in the seaside town of Southwold, Suffolk, UK and went on to Sir John Leman High School Beccles. His family have lived in and around Southwold for generations. From school he joined Suffolk Police and was stationed at Ipswich . Kevin served 5yrs as an airman in the RAF at Marham, Norfolk where he bought a first house. He was the posted to Bombing ranges in Tain and Durness in Scotland .

After leaving the RAF, Kevin joined Norfolk Police and patrolled in police divisions Kings Lynn, Norwich , and Gt Yarmouth. The work was predominantly as an emergency response officer and with periods in various departments including as a researcher in management services, and in an exchange scheme with Chicago Police in the USA. He retired as a Patrol Sergeant and Custody Officer in Gt Yarmouth Division.

After a career in public services, Kevin has returned to Southwold area. He is interested in politics and the environment, and enjoys following the news and events in his local area.
